Norway reserves stash hits 10 billion boe

The resources are spread across 206 discoveries over the region

Norway has 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) of discovered yet undeveloped oil and gas resources, representing about $106bn in revenue for the country’s energy industry, according to new figures released by Wood Mackenzie. These resources are located within 206 discoveries spread across the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). Around half of the 10bn boe lie in the North Sea, with the remainder divided equally between the Norwegian Sea and the frontier Barents Sea, the consultancy said.
