Baker Hughes to supply compressors to Kasawari CCS
Equipment will enable transportation and reinjection of CO₂ at world’s largest offshore carbon capture and storage project in Malaysia
US energy technology company Baker Hughes has secured a contract to supply CO₂ compression equipment to the Kasawari offshore carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in Sarawak, Malaysia. Kasawari, which is being developed at an existing gas field by Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas, is the world’s largest offshore CCS project.
