German utility RWE is lining up a potential move into India’s undeveloped offshore wind sector together with Tata Power, one of the country’s largest integrated power companies. The two firms have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore potential projects in the country, which has no operating offshore wind capacity despite a coastline of about 7,600km.
