How much is a subscription?
An annual subscription to Petroleum Economist is US$2,400 for full (print+digital access) and US$1,680 for digital-only access. For more details see here.
What are the different levels of access available?
Bronze Membership allows you to unlock two articles per month free of charge; you also receive the PE Briefing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Silver Membership provides you with access to all new and archived content on the website plus the app and digital issue (available online via the website and offline via the mobile app). You also receive the PE Briefing email every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 print issues per year and a copy of each new energy sheet-map produced by our Cartography Department.
Gold Membership provides digital access to all employees across your company (print packages can also be included as per your specifications) - for more details please contact us.
Do you offer complimentary subscriptions?
No - full access to Petroleum Economist is available as part of a paid subscription only.
Do you offer free trials?
Yes - you can request a 7-day free trial here (please note you can only apply for this once and access will start as soon as you register).
Do you offer group subscriptions/corporate licences?
We can offer anything from a group of two users up to global/company-wide access - for more details or to arrange a group trial please contact us.

How many people can access my account?
Your login details are for your own use only and cannot be shared with anyone else. If your colleagues also require access to our content we can upgrade you to a group subscription - please contact us for further details.
Can I share articles with colleagues?
Bronze/Silver members can forward the article to colleagues using the "Forward article link" button (the recipient will need to be registered to be able to read the article in full); Gold members can forward a full PDF of an article to colleagues using the "Share PDF with colleagues" button.
Can I share articles externally?
You can forward the article URL to externally using the "Forward article link" button (the recipient will need to be registered to be able to read the article in full).
Can I transfer my subscription?
If you no longer require your subscription or in the case of personnel changes, your subscription can be transferred to someone else mid-term - please contact us to arrange this.
How can I access the PE mobile app?
You can download the PE app for IOS here and for Android here. If you are a new Silver or Gold Member you will have been sent login details, but if not please contact us.
Payment and other details:
How do I pay for a subscription?
You can pay by credit card online when ordering; if this is not possible you can request an invoice that contains all the details you need to make payment by bank transfer/credit card/cheque.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Mid-term cancellations are not possible - if you no longer require your subscription you can have it transferred to a colleague for the remaining period.
Will my subscription be renewed automatically?
No - we will always contact you to confirm before renewing your subscription.
Can I subscribe via an agency?
Yes - we accept subscription orders from agencies (delivery can either be made directly to you or via the agency); if you do not have a preferred agency we can recommend one for you.
Do you offer multi-year subscriptions?
Yes - we offer a standard discount of 10% for two-year subscription and 15% for three-year subscriptions.
