Welcome to the TE100: Entrepreneurs
Throughout July, the industry was invited to nominate women of the energy transition: the trailblazers, the entrepreneurs, the women busy getting things done and not stopping to celebrate their achievements. We asked their colleagues, peers, and partners throughout the global energy industry to nominate them for recognition in the TE100 and enhance their visibility as a role model wherever they are in their careers: just starting out or an industry veteran, we will raise their profile and champion their successes.
Transition Economist is delighted to present the 10 women in the entrepreneurs category, as selected by advisory board members Siobhan Clarke and Miriam Eaves, bp Launchpad, who say:
Launchpad was honoured to participate in the TE100 as we are committed to supporting women’s active participation in all aspects of the energy transition. Both the Launchpad core team and our portfolio of digital start-ups seek diversity at all levels of our organizations as we believe it drives better outcomes. The TE100 is a great way to support, recognize and encourage women entrepreneurs. As we considered the nominees from the TE100 list and our own network, we sought to ensuring a balance of the top 10 that is global, entrepreneurs of different flavours and sizes and those that are challenging the status quo - whether through data, renewables, underrepresented entrepreneurs, and markets. We congratulate TE100 on this great initiative!
Congratulations to all who have been selected, we look forward to supporting your progress in the years to come!
