Collaborative approach key to UK CCUS

Government and companies are working together to ‘green’ the country’s industrial base and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050

The UN’s climate change conference (Cop26) will take place in Glasgow in November 2021. Pushed back a year due to the pandemic, the long-awaited event will see governments and businesses come together around the theme of tackling climate change. After what we have experienced this year, coupled with the emphasis in multiple countries across the world for a green recovery from the economic impacts of the pandemic, it is anticipated Cop26 could produce real momentum towards achieving goals and expediting climate efforts.
