Solar power represents the best option for India to hit its ambitious renewable energy targets for the end of this decade, but it will need to be paired with battery storage to maximise its potential as a round-the-clock energy source, industry figures told a BloombergNEF conference in New Delhi on Wednesday. “There is no doubt as far as India is concerned that solar is the clear-cut winner as of today.
