Biden seeks to address weak infrastructure track record
US faces deep investment hole built over decades, and a lack of skill to address it
Details are soon to be released of a $3tn climate-focused infrastructure bill from the Biden administration which, if passed, would reverse a sustained 40-year failure of America to invest in itself. According to a new report from the American Society of Civil Engineers, the US infrastructure gap—an estimate of the gap between the path of spending and what the economy will ultimately need—has reached $5.6tn.
