Calls to ease bottlenecks as capacity growth lags EU climate goals
Investment in wind capacity in Europe was up 70pc in 2020 compared with the previous year, but a slow permitting process means new capacity is not coming through fast enough to meet EU climate and energy goals, according to industry association WindEurope.
