City sets out 15-year plan to attract investment of over $1bn/yr and launch technology accelerator
New York City has launched a 15-year plan to position itself as a leading location for offshore wind. Mayor Bill de Blasio and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) have pledged to invest $191mn as part of the city’s 'Offshore Wind Vision' project, which aims to attract average annual investment of $1.3bn and create 13,000 jobs.
