Hyphen to supply Namibian green ammonia through Koole Terminals
The developer aims to start supplying green ammonia through the Port of Rotterdam by early 2028
Windhoek-based developer Hyphen has signed a letter of intent with storage and logistics company Koole Terminals to supply Namibian green ammonia to Europe via a planned import terminal in the port of Rotterdam. Hyphen plans to bring the first 1mn t/yr phase of its green ammonia project online by 2027 and double its capacity by 2029. The company has already signed memorandums of understanding for offtake with Germany’s RWE, South Korea’s Approtium and an unnamed industrial user.
