Texas’ Port of Corpus Christi has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ontario-based clean ammonia firm Ammpower to explore low-carbon hydrogen as a feedstock for its derivatives and shipping fuels. Ammpower will evaluate the feasibility of developing a facility which will produce, store and distribute green hydrogen’s derivatives for use as a feedstock for low-carbon fuels and as energy carriers. The firm plans to supply both regional and export markets. Ammpower is a private sector partner for the Port of Corpus Christi’s planned Horizons Clean Hydrogen Hub.
