German energy companies Uniper and Eon have each signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to buy up to 500,000 t/yr of green ammonia from Canadian hydrogen producer Everwind Fuels from 2025. Everwind is developing a green hydrogen and ammonia production and export facility at Point Tupper in the province of Nova Scotia—the first project of its type in Atlantic Canada.
