BP content with West of Shetland portfolio

The major pronounces itself satisfied with the assets it holds in the UKCS frontier region

“We have done a lot over the last five years to rationalise, optimise and improve our portfolio,” BP’s executive vice president, production and operations, Gordon Birrell, told the Offshore Europe conference on Tuesday. “And I have to say we are quite happy with our West of Shetland (WoS) portfolio right now. “Clearly, there are some relatively new assets WoS that we have in the form of the new Glen Lyon [floating production, storage and offloading vessel] at the Schiehallion field.
