The Congress continues to build momentum towards a defining event for the global energy sector. Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators and young professionals, it will serve as a vital platform for dialogue, collaboration and forward-looking solutions at a pivotal time for the energy transition.

Central to this landmark event is the Synergy Pavilion, which will host a programme of events designed to connect policy, technology and people through five distinct pillars. Each of these pillars will feature three one-hour panel sessions, providing deep-dive discussions into the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Women in Energy: Advancing leadership and impact

The Women in Energy pillar focuses on moving beyond mere representation towards the development of practical pathways for career progression. Its panel sessions include: Spotlight on success stories: Redefining leadership in the energy sector, The digital shift: Women at the frontline of transformation, and The power of mentorship: From guidance to sponsorship.

Complementing these discussions is a series of immersive and practical experiences. The Ripple Room illustrates how everyday decisions on who is supported, promoted and heard within businesses can create lasting impact across the industry.

The Commitment Hub enables visitors to create personal professional pledges, supported by tailored roadmaps that connect them to relevant opportunities across the Congress.

Elsewhere, the Career Clinic Capsule offers structured advisory sessions with senior mentors. Beyond the event, participants are invited to join the WeConnect community, which offers ongoing collaboration, mentorship and professional opportunities for members.

Young Professionals: Empowering the next generation

Designed to encourage emerging talent, the Young Professionals programme will foster dialogue, innovation and leadership development. The three core panels for this track include: Youth & energy (professional communities contribution), From voices to reality, and Energy and innovation start-ups led by youth.

The pavilion experience is built around interactive zones designed to actively engage young people. The Youth Impact Area showcases how young professionals are already shaping the energy landscape through innovation, collaboration and community-led initiatives.

At the Innovation Area, visitors can engage with Sultana, an AI mentor guiding them through the evolving energy ecosystem, from local and regional dynamics to global oppor-tunities and future skills. The Policy Table will allow participants to explore how policy decisions influence long-term energy outcomes, encouraging young leaders to contribute to sustainable policy thinking.

Meanwhile, the Sustainability Area offers interactive tools that allow visitors to measure their environmental impact, explore digital sustainability solutions, and contribute pledges toward a cleaner energy future—reinforcing the role of youth as active participants in shaping the transition.

Circular Carbon Economy: Enabling pragmatic net-zero

The Circular Carbon Economy (CCE) pillar highlights Saudi Arabia’s framework for achiev-ing net-zero emissions by 2060 through the four integrated principles of reduce, reuse, recycle and remove. It aims to demonstrate how energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean hydrogen and CCUS technologies can work together to enable resilient, low-carbon energy systems.

Its panel sessions will focus on: Accelerating the circular carbon economy through joint action, The role of CCUS in a sustainable oil & gas energy supply, and The role of hydrogen in the global energy transition.

The pavilion experience is structured as a comprehensive journey through carbon management solutions. The Circular Carbon economy Journey introduces visitors to the full framework, illustrating how the four pillars function as a closed-loop system that transforms emissions into value.

The CO₂ Utilisation Pathways and CO₂ Utilisation Applications sections will showcase examples of how carbon can be reused and repurposed across industries. Visitors can also explore the CCE Immersive Experience, a 3D model demonstrating how advanced technologies are translating ambition into real-world implementation.

Finally, the Pioneering Carbon Solutions area presents innovations such as carbon-cured concrete, geological sequestration, and enhanced oil recovery, illustrating how carbon management can simultaneously support sustainability and strengthen energy systems.

Social Responsibility: Purpose in action

The Social Responsibility programme focuses on the human dimension of energy, emphasising inclusive growth, community empowerment and the delivery of measurable social impact. It aims to highlight how the sector can move beyond business outcomes to create lasting value for people and communities.

The scheduled panel sessions include: Energy companies making a sustainable development impact, Bridging sectors for sustainable impact, and Driving impact through empowering SMEs.

A range of experiential initiatives bring these themes to life. Design to Impact showcases how innovative ideas are translated into tangible outcomes that benefit communities. The Solution Lab invites participants to actively engage with challenges, propose solutions and experience the power of ideas in shaping the global energy ecosystem.

The Share & Inspire initiative highlights the work of non-profits, encouraging visitors to learn from, and engage with, organisations driving meaningful change. Attendees will also have the chance to learn about Forward7, operating under the Middle East Green Initiative, which provides clean cooking solutions to hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

AI & Digitalisation: Intelligence in action

Harnessing technology with purpose, the AI & Digitalisation pillar will explore how digital innovation is transforming the energy sector. Featured panel sessions include: AI partnerships for energy innovation, AI skills for energy professionals, and Harnessing AI for a faster energy transition.

Framed around the theme of Intelligence in Action, this pillar highlights how technology can be applied across the energy value chain. From building digital capabilities within the workforce to enabling cross-sector collaboration, it underscores the importance of aligning technological advancement with real-world outcomes—ensuring that innovation drives both operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

With its five-pillar approach and a robust schedule of 15 panel sessions, the Synergy Pavilion will offer both strategic dialogue and hands-on experiential learning for participants in Riyadh this October.
