Antwerp Blending Plant, Kuwait Petroleum International
First built in 1891, the Antwerp Lubricant Blending Plant is one of the largest and most technically advanced production facilities in Europe. Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI) has modernised the plant beyond recognition with a $100m investment in renovation. Now the complex boasts the widest range of finished lubricant products of any blending plant in Europe. Although it has been fully operational since March 2015, the final section was only recently completed—a vast new warehouse for storing additives.
